Habitat for Humanity of McLean County is a Christian organization and welcomes volunteers from all faiths who are committed to Habitat's goal of eliminating poverty Housing. Homes are sold with no profit made. Homeowners contribute "Sweat Equity" and house payments are recycled to build additional homes.

Weather Policy
Indoor work:
Once the houses are closed in and heated, indoor work will continue rain or shine.
Outdoor work:
Outdoor work is dependent on the weather
• We do not work if it is:
o Below 25 degrees
o Snowing
o Raining
o Thunder and lightning
• If a work session is cancelled the day before, it will be posted on this web site.
• If a work session is cancelled the day of the event, Habitat will call WJBC AM 1230 for an announcement.
• Use your judgment—if you are not comfortable working in the weather conditions, come another time.
