| Donate » Carpenter's Club You do not have to be a master builder to be a “Carpenter” for Habitat. Support for our homes comes from many different people in our community. Some swing a hammer, some encourage our volunteers, some provide us with land on which to build and some provide the financial resources that help make it all possible. Construction of a Habitat home does not begin with the volunteers you see working on Saturday mornings. While our volunteers are a crucial resource, Habitat homes begin with the generosity of local residents who donate cash or materials for homes, individuals who help sponsor homes and those who donate items to the ReStore. With the exception of occasional grants, all money used to fund Habitat is raised locally in McLean County! We at Habitat are striving to meet the need for safe, affordable housing in McLean County. However, we need continued support from our existing supporters as well as additional support throughout McLean County. Habitat needs your help to serve the many families who need a safe place to live right here in your community! Our Carpenter’s Club serves as an annual fund with multi year pledges, which allows us to effectively budget for the future. Membership to the club is convenient –simply select the giving level that is best for you and complete a pledge form. We will send you invoices twice a year so you can fulfill your commitment in installments. HFHMC offers the following benefits to its members:
If you would like to become a member of Carpenter’s Club – welcome! Individuals like you ensure that Habitat will have a permanent presence in this community until we have served all families in need of decent shelter and our work in McLean County is finished! To become a member you may Email our Development Director or click here to view a Carpenter's Club Pledge Card.
If you are already a member – we appreciate your support and hope you will join us as we celebrate the many accomplishments of Habitat for Humanity of McLean County. Please consider increasing your commitment to Habitat as we prepare for the future, or perhaps you could refer a friend who might be interested in learning how they can help serve families in need right here in their own community. |
