A contribution to Habitat for Humanity of McLean County can do many things. It can provide safe, affordable shelter for a family to call home. It can give a child the security and comfort they need to succeed in school. It can give a family the stability to end the cycle of poverty and become self sufficient.  Most importantly, donations to Habitat will help put an end to poverty housing in McLean county—one family at a time.

Making a contribution to Habitat can also provide benefits to you as a donor. All HFHMC donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law and will be acknowledged with a letter you may use for those purposes. Gifts made on-line are safe, thanks to our secure-server capability and will be put to good use by Habitat. We take seriously our responsibility to contributors, to those counting on our help to be wise stewards of funds entrusted to us.

Opportunities to Give
 
Carpenter’s Club — Members make multi-year pledges to support the growth of Habitat. In addition to the satisfaction of helping families in McLean County, special benefits await members at each giving level.  Click here to print a Carpenter's Club pledge card.

House Sponsorship — Fund the construction costs of an entire Habitat house or partner with other groups to finance a portion of a home. Sponsorship packages provide exposure among the community and regular volunteer opportunities for participants.

Angel of the Day — Sponsor a Habitat build team for the hours they spend on the construction site.

In-kind Donations — Gifts of construction materials and/or services to build Habitat houses. Habitat also accepts gently used    appliances and other surplus construction items which are sold at the re-store to finance Habitat houses.

Tribute Gifts — Honor friends or loved ones through a tribute gift to Habitat. Making a contribution in someone’s name is a meaningful way to celebrate birthdays and holidays or to honor the memory of someone special
