Habitat ReStore
We are excited to open the Furniture Building to the public. Located directly beside the main ReStore building the Furniture Building was previously used as a storage area for the ReStore. This building, labeled "Sheet Metal Shop" by its previous owners, has been organized and the items inside priced for sale. Couches, dining room sets, cabinets, and office furniture are all now available for purchase in this exciting expansion to the Bloomington ReStore. ![]() The Habitat for Humanity of McLean County ReStore needs your donations.........of almost any items you take out of your home. Especially needed are doors, windows, cabinets (kitchen or other) and working appliances ( 10 years or less). But any building or remodeling material that's in good shape can be recycled through the Habitat ReStore, saving you dumping costs and providing a tax deduction as well. Equally important, your donations will go back into the community to help people who are upgrading their homes. The Habitat ReStore resells your new or used items (as well as corporate donations) for 50% to 70% off retail prices. All operating profits from Habitat ReStore sales go into Habitat's building program, helping provide adequate housing for McLean County families. The Habitat ReStore does provide donation pickup services once a week when scheduled in advance. Please contact our office for more information. |
